I was wondering how to set up a small boss like the roachoid or ratoid boss. Does anyone know how to do that? If I put them into my map, they just stand still and don't do anything.

Yea, UT, I puzzled with them for a while ,too. It turns out that all you need to do is have another entity 'activate' them. You can even use the player_start output option, where it says 'ready', just choose your mini-boss from the menu at bottom and select 'activate', and when the level starts it will come alive with its healthbar. The only problem with those minibosses is that they are very limited in their movements and actions, but in the right circumstance, they could make for a good battle. I'm glad to see all these good questions coming. Keep it up!

Actually I'm glad you brought this up. I was gonna try to add some of those mini-bosses to the Underground soon.

I have one more question about bosses:
How do I make it so that after I defeat the first boss, another one spawns in after a few seconds?

If your boss has an outpin for when it's 'dead', just link it to a timer, and the timer to your spawner_entity. Haven't tried spawning a mini-boss with a spawner, so I don't know if it will work, but try it and see.

I couldn't figure out how to spawn a boss, but I used a timer to activate one that was already in the level, in a location that the player cannot see. When it's activated it flies down to the player, and the battle starts.
