Does anyone know how to assign music to a level? I really like some of the level music that comes with DNMP, but I'm not sure how to put it into my map. Also, I was wondering how to make a level ending where it tells you how many secrets/kills/nukes you got. I know how to just make the game fade to black and end, but I'd like to have it display the stats info.

Hi, ut85, sounds like you might be close to releasing a map. For your level music, simply go into your enitiy options, choose sound, and then the juke_box enitity. Under its options, you can choose the music track, volume, looping, and whether it starts active or is activated by a switch. You can also turn it off at some point and use another sound track with a switch. Let me know if you need any more help on that. As for the stats, go into your entity menu and choose utilities, and then the end_part entity. Then, you can have whichever entity that activated your fade_to_black entity also activate your end_part entity(using a timer if you wish) or you can have the fade_to_black signal activation of it. There are various ways of doing it so it is presented the way you like.***The end_part entity is hard-coded, I believe, so that it always shows the Rooftop Rebellion title at the top, but it will count all of the nukes, enemies killed, etc. in your single level.*** Hope these explanations are clear. If not, let me know. Good luck!................................RG ;D

Thanks for the info. I'll see if I can get the ending to work properly now.

There are going to be more secrets/kills in my map than in the Rooftop Rebellion level, so if you get all of them, I guess it'll show that you got above the totals. ;D

Don't remember, offhand, how many secrets in RR, but I believe it will, or, at least, it worked for my canyon_clusterfunk level when I had 5 secrets. Don't know if it has a max limit for secrets, though. Let us know if you find out it does.
