I'll have to address this topic later as it is involved. But, you have to create the shaders you want from the textures with shaderlab and save them in a shader directory inside your base directory. I've done it and I can make a tutorial for you. Give me a little time. I'll be back online a little later this afternoon if you want to discuss it............................RG

Hey, if you want the textures you have in mind converted quickly, I can do it for you, but I would need a link to the texture pack you have in mind, or, if it is small enough(only a few MBs), you could mail them to me. Just let me know whether you want me to do it or if you would rather have the tut. The tut may take a while for me to write, though. Cheers!..................RG

Hey RG, If you could write up a tutorial for making custom shaders with shaderlab that would make a good addition for the tutorial section of the site. Nice to see you around these parts again Oakman!!!!

Well, as I have said in other posts, the time I can devote to DNMP projects is severely limited, and I am trying to shape up Slate's space maps for distribution. But, I will try to make a 'simple' tut within the next few weeks that might get you guys through until I do have more time available. I promise to work on it, though, and I will update you on my progress. It would be nice for you guys to periodically report any progress you are making on your maps. Just for us to know that you are still working on maps would help boost other mappers' morale for mapping........................Cheers!...............RG
