Just wondering if anyone is WORKING on a level other than myself? If so, how is it going, and when might you have a beta? I'm still working on my top-down map and hope to have a small sample ready soon.

Since I'm back from my vacation I did a lot of other things, so I had no time for mapping. But I see a light at the end of the tunnel again... Keep on mapping RG! I hope to finish my little map (this way I learn some more stuff) and who knows maybe we can do something together all the DNEP crew.

RG. What the hell ever happened to our GLOPP Canyon project? You never seem to talk about it anymore! When I map, I'm trying to fix up my map for that! Are we still doing it?

Oh yeah, I'm working on my next Glopp Canyon level as a top-down level, if you guys like the preview map I'll have for you shortly. I did mention a week or two ago that that's what I'm working on still. P., you should send me a sample of your level to look at. I wasn't sure that you still had the interest or desire to finish it.(I know you guys have been busy with the site and all).

I'm currently writing a new tutorial on basic mapping. It's a bit bigger than the other tutorials because now I add screenshots to show how I do it. I think it'll be finished within a week.
By the way, my vacation is over.

That's cool, Fred. Are you working on any gameplay levels, though? Or, are you still thinking about fixing up BG's levels so you can make them available?(If you are, I might be able to help.) It would be nice to see some playable levels pretty soon.

Oh man, I forgot all about BG's levels. But no, I'm not working on any levels other than the demo map that comes with the tut I'm writing. I'm not really good at level design, so I decided to focus on tuts and maybe help people with special effects and details in their map. But I can't work on BG's levels untill this tut is done, so if you really want them to come out soon, I can send them to you.

Fred, have you been able to finish the cars and traffic in that one level? If so, send them all to me and I'll see what I can do with them. If not, keep that one and send me the rest. I'll see if I can make them ready for release. ;D

Don't know if anyone other than Prowler is paying attention, but I was thinking it might be a good idea for us all(whoever is left) to work and consult on a level just to get some momentum going. If we get a response, we could start a new thread to list scenarios, game elements to include, any ideas for a good level, etc. Anyone interested?

Wait a second, I AM still around but the new tutorial seems to take up all my time. It's not that I'm always busy with it, but it's quite a piece of work, and I don't think I can do anything else untill it's done. Adding screenshots, good demo maps takes a lot more time than the tutorials I did before, and this one's a lot bigger. You guys will hear from me when it's done okay?

If we get a response, we could start a new thread to list scenarios, game elements to include, any ideas for a good level, etc. Anyone interested? Group work is cool as long as everybody is motivated and has time to accomplish the task. I think its a good idea to start a thread and list some ideas.

Well, I haven't done too much, but I have made a workable shader for glass(I think), I've built a workstation for our glopp-pump-computer complex, and I'm experimenting with the queenroach boss.
Slow, but sure...
I know Fred is working hard on his big tutorial, but is anyone else making any progress?
